Reality Fracture prerelease
I finished 2–3, 19th out of 31. Green-white Sealed felt good to play: the two Ghaltas, Jace synergies and flying tokens made even the losses interesting.
Notes from the session
My pool pushed me towards green-white. I usually play plenty of one-drops; I remember having three white ones here. At the top of the curve were Ghalta the Unstoppable and Ghalta the Immovable, both nine-mana cards.
I won the first match 1–0; game two did not finish. Across rounds two and three, I remember one 1–0 win and one 0–1 loss, but I am unsure of the order. I did not record the game scores for the other two losses.
Empower Jace 2, 5 and 7, the Way cards and flying tokens worked well for me. In one loss I held my opponent back for much of the game; he, too, thought I could win. I cannot place the round or confidently name one of the tokens.
Arcane Amphisbaena was a good inclusion: deathtouch put pressure on the opponent, and it also gave me empower Jace 2. I did not preserve the full decklist.
